Ordering Information and Terms

Libraries and other institutions, please send your order directly to AIP and we will ship on open account. See below for terms.

AIP does not discount its titles.

Individuals and book dealers must send payment with their orders. Book dealers must include customer identification with their order and payment. Orders by individuals and book dealers are shipped promptly upon receipt of prepayment. AIP accepts card card payment through PayPal. See www.paypal.com for information on setting up an account to send credit card payments via email. Paypal users add 5 percent to the cost of the books ordered.

Encyclopedias
Encyclopedias number 256 pages and measure 6 by 9 inches in library cloth. Each volume lists contributors and affiliations. Entries signed by authors. Entries and authors listed in each volume. One to three volumes each annually. Supplementary and index volumes appear irregularly. In English. Subscription publications.

Annuals and Sets
Annuals published each spring or summer. Document sets appear irregularly as prepared. Volumes measure 6 x 9 inches, number about 400 pages in eight-point type, cloth bound. Printings limited to standing orders plus 75 copies. In English.

Postage
United States customers add $7.00 for first book and $3.00 for each additional book ordered.
Canadian customers add $10.00 for first book and $5.00 for each additional book.
Other customers add $18.00 for first book and $9.00 for each additional books.
Books sent to customers outside the United State are sent via air mail.

Terms
All sales final. No returns accepted unless by permission for defective copies. Net 30 days (US), 60 days (non-US). Make payments on existing US bank account or money order in US dollars. Invoices aged more than 60 days, 90 days (non-US) subject to late-pay charges of 1.5 percent per month (18 percent annually). Replacement of "lost" invoices $2.00. Invoices included in shipment only, in front of book.

AIP is not responsible for books lost in US or foreign mail. All prices subject to change without notice. Placement of order signifies acceptance of terms of sale.
